100,000 email users moved from Lotus Notes to Microsoft Online Services

GlaxoSmithKline, a leading pharmaceutical company (turnover 26 Billion UK Pounds) has announced it is moving its email, calendaring and collaboration software to Microsoft Online Services.

The move to Microsoft Online Services should result in substantial cost savings.

GlaxoSmithKline previously used Lotus Notes as its email tool.
